Aya's Profile

Aya has been creating lots of floral designs for over 20 years and is a Licensed Master Floral Designer.  She has studied under M. Brinkoff, Holland’s Master Floral Designer; with Mutsuko Uematsu, Japan’s Master Floral Designer; and with Miyoko Ayai, Japan's formost Ikebana & Tea Ceremony Instructor.  Aya is also a licensed Interior Designer, and Landscape Archtect. Her design areas are thus very broad, but her specialty is Interior Spatial Design.  This is how Aya is able to create the most appealing designs for every occasion and environment.  Her forte is color.  Color is most important because color is relative, and changes in relation to the time, the lighting & weather conditions, the season, the people, and all of the other unique features of each environment.  Color creates Character & Persona, Color creates Mood & Ambiance, Color creates the Tone & Aura of every event.
